The objective of P.A. Management International (Canada) Inc's intervention was to improve REGIDESO's ability to conduct ongoing financial analysis of its operations by setting-up the appropriate management structure.
The Consultant's responsibilities were as follows:
- To conduct an in-depth analysis of the financial statements;
- To propose a five-year financial forecasting model;
- To set-up a light structure within the management & accounting group responsible for financial analysis;
- To train one or two counterparts in Zaire;
- To present a report showing the results of the analysis;
- To design and produce a reference manual to be used by the future REGIDESO's financial analysts.
